Great value
Tim (Long Island, NY) 11/9/2011 6:01 PM
For $82 this is an awesome jacket. Don't let the naysayer discourage you; I was highly impressed with the construction. Apparently sizing has been a little questionable. At 6'-1" and 210lbs I got the XL and it fits ok. I will be getting a 2X for my next one (yes, I plan on buying another color) just to have longer sleeves and a little more length. The jacket is waist length; if you ever wore a Blauer duty jacket, this is the same length in my estimation.

Condor Jacket, Excellent!
Dan (Abilene, TX) 8/30/2011 1:11 PM
Just got this in yesterday and i can say i am impressed. I also have a north face that is the same style as this jacket and it is a total piece of crap compared to the condor. This jacket is pretty warm and here in west texas it doesn't get below 30 degrees very often so i can pretty much where it all year long. For the price i don't know if you can get anything better. looking forword to my next condor purchase.

1st off, expect to spend at least 20 minutes w/ scissors and a lighter taking care of the loose threads that are all over the place, they can easily get caught in the zippers and wreck havoc on the seams. I'm sure most of us wouldn't mind paying an extra $5 to have a little better quality control. 2nd, I'd pay $10 more to have a YKK zipper w/ excellent stitching for the main zipper. Not confident w/ the zippers that are on here, expect to go easy on them though. Great initial water repellency out of the box, supposedly DuPont treatment, not sure about lasting effect after a washing. Don't need the velcro patches, military/LEO guys who do should buy a better quality product that will withstand their abuse, this jacket doesn't appear to have that ability. Jacket is lightweight, and truly "softshell", wouldn't take it through puckerbrush. Decent around town jacket, love the pockets. Seam sealing would have been nice, but would be super expensive due to all the seams and pockets. I'm 6'-1", 180lbs, XL is a little too large if just wearing a T-Shirt, but perfect w/ a sweatshirt or Condor's other fleece jacket that I have in a Large. Great sleeve length, full mobility. Collar is BULKY, but that's because the hood is soo dang HUGE. I'll give this jacket a few months of wear, then if satisfied w/ wear and tear, will likely buy a couple more for my kids and self.

Great Soft Shell
A. Hamilton (Greater Seattle Area, WA) 3/17/2011 1:08 PM
Quality construction, highly functional. Chest pockets have elastic retainers that fit a cell phone and flashlight perfectly. The inside pocket on either side works well with a P3AT in a Desantis Nemisis(sp?). I honestly wish it did not have the Velcro on the sleeves, I'm not sure what use you could put it too as a civilian. Not a huge detractor however. Will be buying another one for myself and my wife.
